IBADAN CELEBRATES NIGERIA'S 64TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has felicitated Nigerians and Ibadan residents on the country's 64th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement signed by President General Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole, the CCII hailed Nigeria's resilience and progress despite challenges. Ajewole noted Ibadan's pivotal role in Nigeria's development, citing its rich history, cultural heritage, and unity in diversity.

The CCII reaffirmed its commitment to fostering unity and promoting progress, acknowledging the contributions of individuals working towards the collective good.

Ajewole urged Nigerians to draw strength from their collective unity, emphasizing that no challenge is insurmountable.

"May our unity continue to flourish, and may we rise above all odds to achieve the greatness that lies within us," he said.

The CCII joins Nigerians in celebrating this milestone, honoring the nation's freedom and the spirit of hope that binds its people together
