Asiwaju of Ibadanland Chief Bode Amoo Backs Ibadan Mega Voice in Mission to Promote City’s Heritage, accepts to Chair Second Anniversary "s Grand Finale

 

Asiwaju of Ibadanland Chief Jacob Olabode Amoo has thrown his full weight behind Ibadan Mega Voice, an association of Ibadan born  communication professionals dedicated to preserving and promoting the city’s cultural heritage, with a promise not only to be a Promoter of the association and it's ideals but also to be the father of the day at the Grand finale of its second anniversary celebrations.

The highly reveered Ibadan Elder and successful business leader made this pledge in his Ibadan palatial home at Agodi GRA when members of IMV paid him a courtesy visit during the week 

 Chief Bode Amoo expressed his pride in the group’s efforts to celebrate Ibadan’s legacy and extended his full support for their upcoming second-anniversary celebration. 

Known for his influential role in advancing Ibadan’s interests, Chief Amoo praised the group’s commitment to unity, urging members to stay true to the values of truthfulness and solidarity in their work.

Aare Kola Olomide, President of Ibadan Mega Voice, expressed deep gratitude for Chief Amoo’s endorsement and ongoing support, recognizing him as a “pillar of strength” for Ibadan and a key figure behind the peace the city enjoys. “Chief Amoo’s commitment to Ibadan’s progress and his endorsement of our mission strengthens our resolve to protect and celebrate our city’s heritage,” Aare Olomide remarked.

Not only did Chief Amoo endorse the association’s work, but he also graciously accepted the title of Father of the Day for the anniversary event’s grand finale, reinforcing his support for Ibadan Mega Voice’s dedication to the city.

Different activities have been lined up by IMV to celebrate its second anniversary in the month of November including free digital marketing skills training for at least 100 Ibadan Indigenes, donation to charity homes in Ibadanland, keep Ibadan clean campaigns to major markets in Ibadanland, open microphone day to discovering hidden talents among youths of Ibadan and grand finale dedicated to networking among communication professionals and honouring outstanding individuals, companies and organizations who have done well for Ibadanland in the past.
