The charismatic President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes CCII Chief Barr Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole is to receive Outstanding Honourary Award at the Grand Finale of the second anniversary celebrations of Ibadan Mega Voice.
The news of the Award was broken when members of Ibadan Mega Voice paid a courtesy visit to the CCII President General in his office at Ibadan house, Oke Aremo.
President of IMV, Aare Kola Olomide explained that the Outstanding Honourary Award reserved for Chief Barr Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole was in recognition of his unmatched and unrivalled achievements as President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes.
Olomide submitted that Ajewole's tenure has brought unprecedented glory to Ibadanland through his selflessness and commitment to excellence "and for this, we have to celebrate this achiever", Olomide added.
Responding, the President General expressed his appreciation for the honour iMV has brought to him, pledging to do more for Ibadan people and Ibadanland
Chief Ajewole who gladly accepted to grace the occasion, promised to show his support for the association before, during and after the anniversary celebrations.
Among other activities lined up for the celebrations are Keep Ibadan Clean campaign, Free Medical Care, Donation to Charity Homes, Free Digital Marketing Skills Training, Workshop for Professional Broadcasters and Grand Finale holding on Sunday 24th November, 2024 at Bode Amoo Hall of Ibadan House, Oke Aremo
Ibadan Mega Voice is an association of Media professionals of Ibadan origin, their areas of operations extend to Print, Electronic and Online media, Public relations, Advertising, Theatre, Printing and Music.
Members of IMV who were at the event included Peter Olasupo(Captain P2), Olabode Adesina(Omo Iya Shina), Faizol Oluwakemi (Dokitomoye), Jubril Arowolo Are, Madam Bukola Hazmat (Benny), Olubimpe Fatoye, Quadri Ajanasi and Saheed Alatise (Oba Irawo).
