In a distinguished event that marked the intersection of culture, media, and political leadership, Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV), a prominent association of indigenous media practitioners in Ibadan, paid a courtesy visit to Senator Sharafadeen Alli (Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District), presenting him with the prestigious Award of Excellence. The ceremony, held at the senator’s residence, was a momentous occasion as the senator expressed his commitment to supporting the organization.

Members of the Ibadan Mega Voice, a collective of dedicated media practitioners championing the cause of indigenous narratives, arrived at the residence of Senator Sharafadeen Alli to bestow upon him the Award of Excellence. The senator, who has been a notable figure in both politics and community development, welcomed the delegation with open arms. IMV; represented by its President, Aare Kola Olomide, Treasurer, Abd Razaq AbdulGaniy (GRA), Public Relations Officer, Ibikunle Samuel (Arugboboiz) and a prominent member, Madam Zainab Olayiwola (Iyalaje) , commended Senator Sharafadeen Alli for his outstanding contributions to the development of the community and his support for indigenous media initiatives. The Award of Excellence was presented to the senator as a token of appreciation for his continuous support to the welfare and progress of the people of Ibadanland.

In his acceptance speech, Senator Sharafadeen Alli expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him by the Ibadan Mega Voice.
